About Me

I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychological Therapist – MBACP and have been working in therapeutic settings for many years. Due to the pandemic I am currently working on Zoom, Skype or telephone.

I’ve been helping people live positive, more fulfilled lives for over 18 years and resolve a wide range of issues, such as Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Trauma, PTSD, OCD, Eating Disorders and come to terms with life events by developing coping strategies to help you move forward.    I am a registered therapist holding Diploma’s in Person-Centred and Gestalt Counselling. With Certificates in CBT, NLP and EFT. In addition, I utilize EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and teach Mindfulness.

I began my counselling journey 20 years ago as a volunteer for Northampton General Hospital’s Bereavement service and the Rape and Sexual Violence Project in Birmingham.  I worked as an addiction counsellor with South Birmingham’s Community Alcohol Service for 12 years before spending 5 years working with complex PTSD survivors at Freedom from Torture.  I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (Reg. MBACP) and have over 5,000 client hours experience in a wide range of presenting issues.
